About Us

The Langdon Youth Council is a non-profit organization which was established in 2004 by a group of parents who are committed to providing quality programs and activities for youth in the Langdon, Indus and Chestermere area, as well as building strong partnerships with local community groups. The council is run by parent volunteers which meet approximately once a month. Parents are encouraged to be involved in whatever capacity they can, whether it is to provide resources, chaperone an event, sponsorship, or participate in council. No experience necessary! The council currently employs a part time youth program advisor to plan and implement youth activities, as well as two part time youth coordinators to assist the advisor.
